It was reported earlier in the year that the Mac OS X 10.12 would bring tentpole features like the Siri support. During the annual WWDC event it is said that Apple has plans to introduce the OS X’s big update. Apart from that, there is also a lot more that has come on in the open about what plans of the company. One of the latest report states that now there is a possibility that Apple also plans to add a supportive feature to the Touch ID.
It has been confirmed by a MacRumors report that Apple has plans to integrate the feature of an auto lock into the OS C 10.12 which would allow the user to unlock their Mac with an iPhone when both of them are close together. Just like the passcode of the AppleWatch can be bypassed if there is an iPhone that is unlocked close by, the same would be applicable in the feature between the iPhone and ODX; this would also include the use of the Bluetooth LE.
Apart from unlocking the Mac with the Iphone, there are also claims in the report that says that it would be possible even for the Apple Watch to do the same if it close to the Mac. This is a function that is very similar to what the third party App Knock provides.
IT was also heard earlier in the year that Apple was planning to bring the necessary support for their Apple Pay Services to the web browser, the explanation given by the report states that with the help of the Bluetooth LE communication, this feature would be powered. Further on, the Touch ID could also be used if the user wants to confirm the purchase that they made.
Apart from Unveiling the Mac OS X 10.12, there are also plans of the company to showcase its upcoming iOS 10 at the event.
