Apple Credited $42 Million iPad Orders by Unified School District

The very well known Unified School District program will be providing an iPad to their every student. This program may have ended disastrously for them however the program was a huge success in some other part. In Los Angeles, United States Apple paid $4.2million for the claim to settle a claim which failed to process. Apple was expecting to make at least $30 million form the first quarter orders given to them for 20,000 iPads.

The LAUSD was accused for the miscalculation of the cost of the program. In the federal review it was found that the figures given for the order to the company were not relative to the correctness therefore the whole order had to be scrapped from the beginning and Apple was asked to repay back the money they were given for booking the order.

Teaching the students though the Apple iPads could have drastically improved the grades for the students. Apple claimed to have increased the high school passing percentage from 65 to at least 82 percent with their devices. Apple is consistently targeting the poor areas and trying to help the students with their devices and improve the quality of their education at the same time.

Most of the teachers who have used the Apple devices for their students have been able to see the drastic chain of results in the performance of their students. The teachers sincerely feel that Apple has helped them in binding and building the right content strategy and improving the quality of their education. Apple is about possibilities and an iPad device can certainly help students to understand the foundation concepts much deeper and easily. Apple is the future of the computing devices and they are building smart system which can help users of every segment with their needs and wants from the device.
