There is a very big question in front of the Apple now what will happen to the standard bundle iPhone earphones coming with the 3.5mm jack after the iPhone 7 is launched with the lightning port jack with them? One of the possibilities of the cases may be that Apple replaces the standard hack with the lightning port at the end of the headphone and wrap them up with the upcoming iPhone 7.
An experiment was conducted with JBL’s Reflect Aware which is one of the lightning port style earbuds available in the market. If reports are to be believed Apple is also trying to indulge the noise cancellation facility in their lightning port devices of the earphone.
The noise cancellation technology will be borrowed from Wolfson Microelectronics. According to the reports, the upcoming headphones with the iPhone 7 will not be having any noise cancellation technology however the Apple will be separately selling an expensive version of the headphone which will carry noise cancellation technology. The second possibility to the theory may be complete removal of the wired headphones from the stock of the Apple for iPhone 7 and replacing them with wireless Bluetooth technology earbuds, somewhat similar ear buds are already available in the market under the flagship of PowerBeats and JayBirds.
The third and most depressing theory to the assumption could be not including any headphone, or earphone in the iPhone box, this one of the most unlikely situation which may happen in the case of Apple. Apple has still not been able to figure out the best match for themselves in similar regards. They are still confused on what should they be offering. Should they be looking for a wired or a completely wireless option however there aren’t many as such great options available in wireless? If Apple chooses the lightning port then the headphones of the Apple won’t be used with other devices which are still using standard 3.5mm jack.
