Apple Confirms Operational Involvement In Florida Missing Teens Case

The entire team of Apple which includes team of forensics experts and the partners from technology team has joined together for scanning the information about a missing teen at sea. Austin Stephanos from Florida a teen went missing at nine months ago. He was using an iPhone 6 device at the time. There has been no such clue detected about him however his phone has been recovered from a small fishing vessel. Apple has confirmed its involvement towards helping in the investigation and data recovery operations and activities Austin and his shipmate Perry both have been missing since months from the sea after they went for fishing on the coast of Jupiter Florida last July.

The phone recovered from the sea has been subjected to harsh environment and has been non‐ operational from last eight months. Indeed a challenge in front of the experts to find and recover the data from the dead phone. Last week the US Coast guard and Florida Wildlife Conservation Commission have also confirmed that the 19 foot vessel was the same both which carried both of the boys. The family of Perry filed a lawsuit against Stephanos and Florida wildlife commission for preserving the iPhone and extracting the data from the iPhone. Finally both of the families have agreed to get the phone scanned and get the data extracted from the iPhone.

Apple will be helping the teen’s families and the investigating officials in extracting the data from the iPhone to connect the missing dots. Ideally Apple does not allow data extraction form their phones in any case. Their devices are completely encrypted and it is nearly impossible for Apple to break the phone and extract the data however Apple has always been helpful in special cases.
