Microsoft has finally brought the Word Flow which is a Windows Phone Keyboard for iPhone is now available in the App Store. This third party keyboard has various kinds of features that come along with it. You have the traditional keycap inputs along with the popular gesture input that swipes between letters which is a method that Swype had popularized.
The keyboard also has a one handed mode which is a curved one. The Word Flow keyboard morphs into the corner in a circular layout just by a gesture. With a finger, you can gain access to all the keys. This would be handy especially of a person is used to the 5.5″ screens of the iPhones which is much larger. Apart from that, there are also various themes and backgrounds for that extra special touch if you want to customize the keyboard. This is something that is not found in the counterpart of the Windows phone.
Another feature of the Word Flow is the fact that it has its own version of the Quick Type feature of Apple. It helps to predict the next word on the basis of what the user already wrote. This helps in a quick entry of the word the person is typing on the basis of the natural language analysis. On top of the keyboard, there is also a bar which reflects all the words that are suggested.
The Word Flow which is available in the App Store is a free download however this is only available presently only for one region right now. The international release is yet to be known however for now; the users in the United States can gain access to it as the US version of the Word Flow is available since it had surfaced first earlier in the year by Microsoft.
