Well this one is big news for all the Apple fans. Indian government has recently decided to uplift all the regulatory bans from tech company Apple. This means that Apple now can directly sell their products to Indian consumers from their website. The long standing regulatory hurdle was a due compliance for the company from directly up selling their products. Apple members met government’s regulatory committee. Ramesh Abhishek from Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion Secretary argued over a special examination on rigid Indian trade policies.
Indian government has mandatory rules for foreign companies operating on Indian soil that, companies marketing a product from a single brand source should at least be selling 30 percent of their goods from the domestic suppliers. In case of Apple the 30 percent for the Apple goods can be accounted upon their components to manufacture devices like iPhone, Mac, etc. Indian government says that the relaxations can be made for Apple as they seem to meeting all the requirements nearly upon the rules.
Apple added sugar by mentioning their plans on expansion in Indian origin. Apple is only said to be manufacturing limited device chargers which they plan to expand in near future. Apple has been always able to bring major breakthrough in market via their devices technology. Apple was also asked about their plans upon selling refurbished devices in Indian market? Apple has been planning from a very long time on selling refurbished devices in Indian market however they haven’t thought much about it. Government will be sooner expediting the process on Apple’s first official store in Indian market. Apple is planning to set up more stores in Indian market. They will be sooner seen putting up their threads together. Apple is finally waiting for the confirmation from the government officials to plan the location of their first store.
