There are various vehicles which are enabled with the CarPlay that is hitting the North American markets very soon. The same can be seen in this year’s New York International Auto Show that is going to be held this year. The different models that will be in display would include companies like Volkswagen, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, Honda and even Chevrolet.
Last week the official announcements were made by Chevrolet wherein the launch of their latest CarPlay Car, the Sonic was introduced. It is said that the Sonic car is said to be a car that is loaded with Android and CarPlay Auto compatibility. The Chevrolet Trax was also introduced by General Motors which supports the CarPlay feature. The dealership for both these cars will hit dealers by fall 2016.
This week, even Honda followed by debuting the Civic Hatchback and by the year end, the launch of the Clarity Fuel Cell Sedan. Even these cars are compatible for the Android Auto and CarPlay feature. The 2016 model of Accord that is designed by Honda as well as the Civic is already compatible with CarPlay. Even the 2017 Ridgeline is said to be compatible with this feature.
When talking about cars, even Hyundai recently unveiled the Ioniq electric vehicle which is the 2017 launch. This car is also said to be compatible with Android Auto and CarPlay. Though the Ioniq’s launch date is yet to be known, however it is believed that the Cadenza is said to be on sale later on in the year of 2016.
In the auto show, you can also find the first CarPlay model that is launched by Subaru. The model’s name is said to be called Impreza and even Volkswagen’s Golf Alltrack which is a special US version will also feature the benefit of having Android Auto and CarPlay.
