According to the executives at Apple, there are some parts of the Apple device which can easily be used again on new Apple products or as replacement parts after a few tweaks. Some of the reusable parts in the Apple iPhones are its screens and logic circuits. If these parts can be extracted from old affected iPhones, the company can re‐introduce these parts in the global supply chain some way or the other, after a few tweaks.

Other than these parts, there are many more products used in the Apple iPhone which can be used for various other purposes. The examples quoted in the video includes tungsten, previously used to construct iPhone vibrators, can be used in cutting tools of various types. Moreover, the silver used in the logic circuit of the iPhone can be reused to construct some of the major segments of any solar panel.

The robot has been programmed in such a way that it is actually able to tear apart the Apple devices and separate the tiniest parts from the main body in such a way that it can be easily reused. Apple is calling this new reusing and recycling venture of theirs Apple Renew. According to their claim, anyone can participate in the program by providing Apple with their old Apple devices.
