Apple is looking to provide the users of Apple music thousands of DJ mixes and mixes with the help of Dubset. Dubset is such a company which has risen from scratch and is now the second highest digital distributor of music across the world.
According to the deal struck between Apple and Dubset, the later will take the responsibility of paying off and handling the various labels and production units whose songs are included in the mixes. They use a state of the art technology called the MixBank. This software actually scans through the whole mix and singles out the various songs it comprises of. This allows the company to find out the labels or the production units and makes it easier for them to pay for the rights to the company.
Initially, the challenge was to single out the songs and recognize the labels and production units. The collaboration with Dubset had made it a lot easier for Apple.
