In the December of 2015, Charlie Rose had shared the extracts from the one hour interview he had during that period with the much known designer head of Apple, Jony Ive. Recently, the reputed Charlie Rose again had an interview with Jony Ive which lasted for 35 minutes. The main agenda of the interview was to talk about the designing feature of the Apple devices, and the specifications which are the main design features of Apple.

The opening of the interview features the design head answering about the question related to the employee choosing methods of the company. According to him, the main quality they look in their employees is their ability to create and nurture a culture which can be bound around the design and innovation the company has shown since its inception. He also went on into saying that the focus behind building and designing an Apple product is not based on money, but is basically based on the product and the design of the product.

Ive had shared one very personal event of his life during this interview. It was of the speaker sharing some quality time with the father of Apple, Steve Jobs, while shopping in Italy. He went on into describing how both of them had instantly taken into notice a change in the reflection coming from a knife that was on sale at a certain shop. By this simple event, he wanted to share how Steve Jobs and the head designer were in noticing various different design qualities and changes in any kind of product.

Later he went on into stating how it felt and how it was like when he and Jobs had worked side by side in this company and how he always pushes himself to come up with better ideas while keeping within the limits of technical devices.
