The recent news that we got to know about is the new flagship of Apple which will be at San Francisco’s Union Square. Now word has it that the contraction work is almost complete as well as glass doors are being installed which can be movable. The existing flagship of the company which is located at Market Street and Stockton is around 3 blocks from the new facility.
It is believed that the work on Apple’s new store that was started in June last year is now touching on the stage where the glass will be installed. The design is very similar to the store located on West Lake in China. This also featured the event of the Spring Forward that took place in March last year.
The uniqueness of this store that is being built in San Francisco is said to be the fact that it will have big sliding doors that would be located in the buildings front end. This will also enable the visitors to take the most amount of advantage of location especially during the business hours during the time it would be considered as pleasant climate.
The present store of Apple is right on the intersection of Market, Ellis and Stockton streets is a location where the construction has been there nonstop. The tunnel has been under construction for quite some time now; it has been shut until 2017 and will partially be reconstructed for pedestrian tunnels that will pass below it.
Even though there have construction going on, that has not stopped customers to come and be in the block where the launch of various products takes place. This is a place that will always remain busy even during the peak time of holidays. By the end of 2019, it is believed that the Central subway is said to be completed and a new walkway for pedestrians will be available underground.
