Phil Schiller who is the SVP for the Worldwide Marketing for Apple is now working towards bringing about a change in regards to the app store. Earlier Eddy Cue was responsible for the App store however now it has come under Schiller‘s wing to take care of the Mac App and the iOS App store.

Though this change happened not even three months back, however Phil has not wasted time and we can already see things change around. The changes also includes providing regular and new updates about the best app that are available that appears even on the Feature page of the store. The confirmation of the changes has been acknowledged by Schiller in his Tweets and has also let us know that there are some more changes that can be expected.

Earlier, thee update for the best featured app used to happen only once in a week mostly on Thursday, however now, the update is a lot more regular. This is one thing that is good as users do not have to wait for the specific day when the featured apps would be on the spotlight.

Phil clearly indicated that these changes are just the beginning; some other changes that are supposed to happen will be something that will be really positive. We have also managed to get the benefit of having the video previews that has landed on the App store for tvOS.

Now in time we will get to see various features that will be added on to the app store. Schiller seems to have taken his responsibility really seriously and is making sure that he works towards making a positive change so that app users can enjoy their experience.

He also plans to ensure that he expedites the changes really fast and is also in touch with the developers so that they can also work towards it in their own way.
