Apple’s iPhone 7 is said to be a high end model wherein it has dual cameras. The company is said to name the new phone as iPhone Pro. This was information that was found on a Chinese website called MyDrivers as per the translation of Google Translate. It is believed that the company is considering changing the name of the device and giving it a distinguished name from the regular iPhone 7 and the plus version.

As per Ming‐Chi Kuo, an analyst with KGI Securities said that the company is planning to work on 2 different versions on the latest upcoming plus model. The variation is said to be that there will be one which will have a camera with single lense while the other variant is a camera with a dual lense. Both the variants would be sold together, however that itself is a rumour on its own is questionable as this can result in the in a splinter in the lineup for the iPhone, however Kuo believes that that will not happen as the company seems to have a plan in regards to this. He also said that there were two separate notes on the research.

The rumours that are floating around says that the reason why the iPhone Pro is surfacing now is due to the fact that it has a unique name of the 4″ Apple iPhone is supposed to be called as iPhone SE. The rumours that the company is planning to apply a name change in the next gen iPad 9.7″ where it would be known as iPad Pro instead of the iPad Air 3. Based on this, the company is planning to make a shift on the lineup of the iPhones.

The iPhone 7 and the plus version will not debut anytime soon. The word has it that the launch is said to be sometime in the fall season of this year. It is also said that there are plans that these Phones are said to have a body that is water resistant and will not have a headphone Jack.
