In an official announcement made earlier in the month, the company only in the US country, more than 2 million locations accepted the Apple Pay feature. Though the number may be big, but the matter of the fact is that in comparison to the country’s retailer count, this is a very small portion.
It is believed that new merchants are said to be a part of the list. The list for 2016 of incoming companies would include KFC, Starbucks, JC Penny, Chick‐Fil‐A, Create and Barrel, Au Bon Pain etc.
It is said that the feature was even launched in Canada, Australia and United Kingdom Last year, while expansion towards Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong and China was being target in 2016.
