It was previously heard that Apple is going to alter the ear pods from iPhone 7. It has long been using those same ear pods but now they will get a rest as someone else takes their place. Weibo presented an article about the compatible would be earpods and it has gained quite a good amount of popularity. Two options popped up with the discussion but which one is actual is not known. Let us go through the rumoured reporting.

Lightning or not?

The images of ear pods surfaced with the report of Weibo and it is again thought that lightning earpods will grab the market. The ear pods will have a lightning connector whose base will be made thick for making it more durable. However, recently it was heard that the lightning adapter will be provided with 3.5mm jack which will help it to connect with devices like iPad, mac and others. The audio however was already supported by lightning.

The second option

As it was said, there emerged two options to take the place of the original earpods. So the opponent of lightening earpod is expected to be AirPods, a wireless variety of ear pods which is expected to be launched with iPhone 7. These Bluetooth earbuds which are thought to be devoid of cords will be made by Beats but will be marketed under the name of Apple. Presently these are under construction.

So no one can certainly say what the truth is and will have to wait till the launch of iPhone 7 which is expected in September. Though nothing more is known about earpods yet a sketchy idea about other iPhone 7 features are there. The camera, antennae layout and storage will be modified.
