The setting of the wheelchair option allows them to go ahead and customize the activities which are especially for those who are in wheelchairs. To cater to the calorie goals for the entire day, the contribution can be made with the help of the Wheelchair setting. There are specific workouts which can be done even though they are on the wheelchair. There are reminders which are available where the option of ‘time to roll’ has replaced the “time to stand” option.

During the Keynote of the Worldwide Developers Conference, the wheelchair tracking as per Apple has been under development for the past few months. This has been possible with the help of the partnership that is there between the company, the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Lakeshore Foundation.

Around 300 people had participated for the activity research which was said to be around 3,000 hours. This is the much needed time the company needs in order to perfect and refine the feature during the period of beta testing.

Another thing that had been mentioned in the mimeo was the fact that the company is committed in order to help to enhance the experience of Apple Watch even for these who are in the Wheelchair. Even in the past, retail employees have been approached in order to test the macOS and testiOS even in the past. The beta testing of the watchOS 3 is said to be restricted to the internal corporate testers and developers due to the fact that downgrading will not be possible form a watchOS beta with a proprietary adapter.
