Apple And FBI Battle Taken A Step Further

The battle between Apple and FBI  is raging strong, with both parties attacking the other at random. One of the most used weapons in the whole exchange between these two super powers in the media. It all started with Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, putting up the denial letter on a public forum. After the declaration of the denial letter, everything fell apart. Both Apple and FBI geared up to start off their fight against each other. In a few days, many new evidence and situations came into the light, some favoring Apple, and some working in favor of the FBI.

Apple And FBI Battle Taken A Step Further

Recently, the Senior Vice President of Apple, Craig Federighi had commented in an interview that FBI was looking to force Apple to create such a program which will not only give the government more power than they should have, but also provide with criminals and hackers the ability to tap into any iPhone on the planet. On the other hand, the head of counter terrorism in NYPD put forward a counter comment, stating that Apple is actually trying to provide murderers and criminals with a safe haven by not providing the FBI with the security key.

Moreover, he also repeated a quote from a certain reputed District Attorney from Manhattan, Cyrus Vance that some time back, a criminal had described the iPhones from Apple as “Gift From God”. On the other hand, many officials of the law have understood the fact that this case will never be solved with a single exchange of comment. It will be long and tiresome, since no one is likely to yield.

With everything going on, it is quite evident that the Congress will take the final decision in the public court. Thus, it is necessary for both sides to effectively persuade the general public in order to win the case. Till date, it has been seen that the tech giants are all in favor of Apple, but most of the general public are still on FBI’s side.
