Stranger Things which was the surprise summer hit of Netflix quietly went ahead and posted what seems to be the new iPad pro‘s hardware. For the series, the new poster which is said to be iconic is said to mimic the look that you would get to during the posters for movies of the 80’s. Kyle Lambert is the name of the artist that used an iPad Pro to create the poster. He also went ahead and used the Apple Pencil while creating the poster.
Ever since the poster was released online, it became very popular and this resulted in the iPad pro finally being taken seriously by a lot of digital artists. This can be said as there is proof wherein they are making the sketch from devices such as Wacom Cintiq. For the creation of the image, the software that was used on the iOS front was Procreate and for the mac the Adobe Photoshop was also included.
When speaking to Mashable, Lambart stated that the project was very exciting, considering the fact that he had been trained to use oil paints, using the help of tools to create a painting style that was traditional was challenging but it was something that he enjoyed the most.
The iPad Pro had been used in order come with the sketch of the poster for Stranger Things. During the drawing stage, the iPod Pro was used so that the sketch could be made for the poster. This was done using the Apple Pencil, for brushing the Pencil was used which gave the real feel; this gave the ability to doing things the natural way. For the tonal blocking, the Procreate was used and then the artwork was exported to Photoshop for the image to be up scaled. Incredible results were delivered by the iPad Pro which reflected in the final result of the poster.
