Astropad is an app, using which one can transform his/ her iPad screen into a drawing board which supports Photoshop, an intrinsic Mac software. This year Apple advanced this app and launched its second version which accumulated much appreciation.

The Astropad 2 which can be availed now as a free update has shocked the market with its new and bettered features. The new version has longer battery life and extended work session. Upgradation of liquid engine which led to the operation being faster thrice with reduced pixelation.
The velocity control is also new which led to the analysis of network situations in multiple numbers in a short span of time that helps to balance latency and image quality. It also got a makeover look wise, now you can experience a new and smooth feel. The Astropad has refined pressure curves. These helps to give a natural feel of drawing and are hand- tuned by the artists.

The software compatibility has also been developed. It now supports zoom and pan gestures and also programmes like Art Rage, Affinity Designer, Clip Studio Paint, Affinity Photo, Autodesk Sketchbook, Mischief, Lightroom etc. It also has hidden cursor. You can go to settings and hide the cursor while drawing.
In order to turn the iPad into a Mac tablet, Apple pencil and iPad Pro were added to the Astropad. This update was done in previous year’s December. So if someone wants to unleash the artist within him/her, they can do so that with the help of Astropad which can be bought from App store. The cost is $29.99 and the new version is free for the persons who are using it presently.
