Apple is known for its continual upgradation of software and for special screening and testing of those by the developers. After the developers are satisfied then the common crowd gets a chance to deal with the changes. Apple has launched for its developers to test the new iOS 10 beta 4. This can be tested in iPod touch, iPhone and iPad. The new software is packed with many attractive features which can be used by the public by the end of this fall.
Any registered developer will be able to test the beta 4 after installing the beta profile from the developer’s page. On 18th July, Apple launched beta 3 with numerous new features but the present software provides a breath of fresh air. Let’s see what we have got.
The Features
In iOS 10, the news and music of Apple has got a makeover, the lock screen also got redesigned, HomeKit got its first ever Home app. These changes were already there but what more is being offered by the beta 4 is the question.
The control centre splash page is new. There are improvements and bug fixes. Though no new wallpaper is added yet some of the removed wall papers are making a comeback from iOS 8. The folder animation is accelerated. The emojis are redesigned and the range is made diverse.
The widget of Date section also returns.
Among so many inclusions, a removal is also made. The Taptic Engine vibration during the manual locking of phone is now gone. The add-ons are no doubt exciting and worth trying but people will have to wait till fall to use this iOS 10 beta 4. Since the iOS 10 has fared quite well, it can be assumed that beta 4 will also get a warm welcome and thumbs up.
