The rumors behind the removal of the 3.5 mm jack from the iPhone 7 started back in November. Apple planned to remove the headphone jack from their latest handset as they feel the technology is too old. Additionally they also planned to make the iPhone 7 completely waterproof and dustproof which would have never been possible without the removal of the jack.
One of the reports claims that Apple will be sooner bundling the 3.5 mm jacks with the Apple iPhone 7 with a standard jack for connecting the headphones with the device. A lot of claims were made in the market for the lightning earpods being provided by the Apple, If the report of the standard jack is true then Apple will surely not be providing the lightning earpods. The adapter being expected to be bundled with iPhone 7 is a male adapter Lightning connector. From one end is the standard 3.5mm port for connecting the headphones and the other end carries the special port for connecting with the phones.
While the Lightning port for connecting the standard 3.5 jacks will not be carrying surprises any further. Most probably Apple want to ship all the early manufactured headphone pieces with their phones, may be that is why such arrangements are being facilitated by the company. The official adapter leaks are said to be picked from Foxconn, the official supplier for the Apple situated in Vietnam. There is a lot of fuss already built around this in the market and no one is sure until Apple speaks up.
The pre order of the Apple iPhone 7 are expected to begin from September 9th, Apple will launch their event on September 5th for the official launch of the iPhone 7. Some of the rumors claim that Apple will be launched on September 16th .
