A cross platform podcast player, Pocket Casts is finally available on Android, iOS, web and even on the windows phone now. A major release has been also updated on the iPad as well as iPhone now. There are a lot of changes which has been included into Pocket Casts 6. The fresh interface changes include a dark theme and some of the multitasking features for the user this time. According to Shift Jelly, the latest user interface of the Pocket Casts has been completely refined now.
The developers have tried to maintain the modern look of the player with a pinch of the simplicity. The most noticeable feature of the player includes the dark mode. It has made the Pocket Cast easier to operate at night without straining and hurting the eyes. Shifty Jelly says while rewriting the code for the Pocket Casts, a lot of the features was rebuilt for the users. The new app is much speeded now and friendlier to use.
The reason behind the update of the app was to simplify the usage of the app for the users. Some of the pioneer features of the RSS Radio have also been added to the app. It’s been more than a year now since the developers have been trying to work over the improvements and finally they have released them for the users now. The app currently supports split view which allows the user to continue with their important tasks while continuing with the episodes further. The iPhone device users carrying the iPhone 6 can also freely use their 3D touch shortcuts of the device. The existing users of the Pocket Casts app can update the app from the app store however the new users of the app will have to pay $5.99 for iPad as well as iPhone.
