Play Store which encounters almost double the amount of downloads, than that of App Store was defeated by the latter on revenue context. App Store got 75% more revenue than Play Store. And Apple is gaining a firmer ground in this App Store siding Google Play.

Striking news about App Store is that China became the number one country by game’s revenue after surpassing USA. This fact is mention worthy because about 75% revenue comes from game and China has topped it which means a lot for China and Apple both. America has the second spot and is followed by Japan.

However, it is assumed that soon China will top all the revenue category and not only games, which will be a pleasant surprise because Google Play is presently not available in China.

The iOS is more popular choice for viewing movies and videos than androids and the increasing subscription for Spotify, HBO and Netflix are making Apple more popular. Nowadays, people are spending more time in apps as now life is revolving around those and are getting hugely benefited. And it is expected that by 2020 the app market will double the present figure.
