Apple has recently launched their electronic pay services which are enabling the people all across the world to make digital electronic payments. This service will be controlled by NFC mode. The service is known as Apple Pay which allows the people using the iPhone devices to make electronic payments using their iPhone electronically. The best part is, Apple has tied up with many merchants and banks to make their services being accepted. Is the end to the card and plastic journey of the users? Well a lot of banks are thinking in similar direction.
The cashless card of the FIS is combining the QR code with an app. It shall allow the people to withdraw money using the ATM even without using the plastic cards for the same. FIS says that the transaction will not take more than 10 seconds in the complete operation and the touch id will also be asked each time the user performs the transaction at any local ATM for the security measures. None of the ATM’s today is being owned by any of the banks. They are all working in partnership with Payment Alliance International. FIS is sooner expected to be the mainstream of the journey. More than 70,000 ATM is expected to be carrying the functionality of the touch id integration soon. There has been an agreement also signed between the FIS, Apple Pay and Payment Alliance International.
Apple was the first company to introduce the journey of going cashless and people found it completely relevant too. They have much appreciated the service and are completely fine with adapting it as a mainstream in their regular daily life. Some of the frauds related to the card such as card skimming, card thefts, etc. can be also controlled via the digital pay service.
