Known as a writing tool, Scrivener is a niche specific app. However, it has a fanbase that is unmatched. No other iOS is this much hyped. For people new to it, it’s an application composed by an author for essayists. You can read various reviews of the Mac application online, that will offer you a summary of the app.
More about Scrivener
The main duty of Scrivener is to unite in one place everything that you require in order to think, research, compose and either submit or independently publish a novel. You will be served with everything starting from Traces, pen-representations of characters, creating copies of web pages offline, photographs, PDFs and notes. In other words, Scrivener brings to you, everything without exception that will be required to make your opus magnum. People who have already used it are of the opinion that there is no set back.
The only shortcoming of Scrivener was it lacked an iOS app. The story behind the app creation is evidently long and excruciating. However, finally an app has published in the market by the man behind Scrivener, Keith Blount. People beta-trying it for a couple of weeks now, has discovered it rock-strong. The final version is ready to get released on 20th July.
Know the user interface
When the app is opened for the first time, you will be able to see the actual screen, displaying all your projects. If you have only one project that you are working with, the app will immediately display the same. This project view of the app is almost similar to the Mac version.
People who have used the same will see the binder to the left along with a folder to save the manuscript. Other features shown are the character notes and research tool. Scrivener might appear to be a little expensive and is available at $19.99. But, with the host of benefits it offers, surpasses the slightly higher price. Once you have started using Scrivener and writing with the same, nothing will actually matter.
