Tim Cook shares his remorse over the unfortunate killing of the 2 black men by the policemen in 2 separate incidents held separately in Minnesota and Louisiana. One of the black men was a young man of 32 years of age. His name was Philando Castile who was living in Falcon Heights, St Paul. He was working as a café supervisor at a local school. He was shot dead in front of his daughter and his girlfriend while his car was being pulled by the police officer on duty.
The video of his killing went viral. The video shows that his car was stopped by the police for the busted tail light. Philando told the police that he was carrying a gun with himself for which he was licensed. The police officer asked to show up his license to them and put his hand in the air. He tried to reach his wallet. He was shot dead by the police.
In an another incident where a 37 year old black man Alton Sterling was also shot dead by the police. His death was also captured on camera by a passer nearby. He was merely few yards away from the white policemen who tried to arrest him. He is left behind with his 5 siblings. He was detained by police a lot of times. He used to sell the CD outside the convenience store.
Police told in their reports that Alton Sterling threatened one of their officials with a gun when he went alone to detain him. The killing was indeed horrible. Tim tweets that the incident was shocking. He also tweeted that justice can never be gained with violence. Tim included Congressman John Lewis in his tweet and demanded immediate arrest of the assailant police officers. After the publish of the images and videos on Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg also expressed his deep grief.
