Apple is having a hard time managing its time. Several bands and bundles of Apple Watch have been tagged ‘sold out’ which has increased the concern of the people and quite normally speculations are made about this topic. This condition has been prevailing for quite a few weeks and various kinds of bands with different colours, styles and sizes have been affected. Apple Watches are generally launched as seasonal collections and this shortage of stock has had an effect on all the three collections: Spring 2016, fall 2015 and spring 2015. Let us have a look on the collections and the shortage these are suffering.
Out of Sale
A wide range of styles of bands is available here. One can choose from Sport, Leather Loop, Nylon, Link Bracelet, Modern Buckle (small, medium and large) and Classic Buckle. Generally these are available in wrist sizes, 38 mm and 42 mm and in huge array of colours, starting from exciting and fresh Lavender, Turquoise, Lilac, Red, Vintage Rose, Green to the traditional white, black, blue, gold (though the colour palate here also possesses variations).
The Classic Buckle has been hugely affected with 13 sold‐outs followed by Sports (12 sold out), Leather Loop (4) and Modern Buckle (3). The rest, Milanese Loop, Link Bracelet and Nylon have mixed situations where a certain colour and size is sold out but others are available.
The Hermes is the only brand which has used the term ‘Unavailable’ to label its stocks. Not only the bands but ten bundles also are stocked out. 42mm Silver Aluminum Case with Royal Blue Sport Band, 38mm Gold Aluminum Case with Gold/Red Woven Nylon are some of them.
Hints
Two rumours have surfaced, one claiming the launch of Summer collection, the other pointing at the shuffling of inventory before the launch of Apple Watch 2. But we will have to wait to know what the matter is.
