It has been around 3 years now that the Chromecast of Google was released, how the company is trying to come up with the support of the Cast into the Chrome for Macs and PC. A recent update from Google on the Chrome’s help page stated that very soon the Cast option would be seen by the Chrome 51 users which would appear on the options menu. The addition of the ability to see the Chrome tab contents in Google Hangout will soon be added by the company.
With the help of this change, it means that the Cast extension would no longer have t be installed by you so that you can send the tabs that are open on the browser to the television. However, for those who want to install the option for a quicker access, the extension will still work, this will help reduced the time you would spend working to figure out the menu.
The feature can be activated by clicking the menu icon that looks like a hamburger, on the Mac; it is represented by three dots vertically placed on the browser window’s top right hand side. The option for Cast is said to be located between the Find and Print headings under the menu that will drop down. Another way to access the cast would be by going to the tab and with the help of the right click, open the context menu and select the option.
For those websites which are integrated with the functionality of the screen sharing feature of Google, will add the Cast button discreetly to the medial that is applicable. The feature of the Cast that is built in will work in the similar way for the options of sharing the tab through Hangouts. There are also help pages available to know the way the cast to the Hangout can be done.
