With all the buzz that has been happening on the iPhone 7 Plus’s design of the dual camera, it seems to be that the market now has a new name that has come up in regards to the two lenses system. Huawei, which is a smartphone maker and a competitor, seems to be giving Apple a true run. Pictures were used by the Chinese company that had been shot from a DSLR through a smartphone that is not new in the market.
The P handset of Huawei is said to be a smartphone that has been focused primary on photography. The camera of the handset is said to be 12 MP and has a dual lens. For the promotion of the handset, on Google+, a picture had been uploaded by the company where in the implication that was given was the use of the P9 camera captured the image.
The EXIF data had been included in the Google + upload where all the necessary hardware information was revealed that was used to capture the picture. In the case of the image that had been used for promotional purposes, it is said that the lens that was used was the EF70‐200 f/2.8L IS II USM along with the Canon 5D Mk. III which is priced at $4,500.
After the image’s true source had been revealed, the image was removed by Huawei from their account on Google Plus and a statement has been issued to the Android Police where they had admitted that the P9 smartphone had not been used to take out the picture. They also went on to state that the picture was actually taken out during the time they were working on the P9 advertisement. They stated that they had no misleading intentions and removed the image and also apologized for the same.
