In regards to the Basic Plan which is said to be free, a limit has been enacted by Evernote restricting it to two devices only. Even the rates of the Premium and Plus plans of the app is said to be increasing. The reason behind it is due to the fact that in the long term, the company plans to invest towards the improvement. Those who are supporters of Evernote have fluctuated between the Basic and Premium tiers as and when it was needed. Even the Basic plan users are urged to adopt the Plus or Premium plans.

For those users who are above the limit of two devices may just get a courtesy email as an alert in regards to the upcoming changes. It is also mentioend in the email; customers who are in such situations have around a month to make the necessary adjustments. That is either to limit the use of Evernote to two devices or opt to g for the Plus or Premium plan. The users who are said to be in the Plus or Premium accounts would be able to use Evernote in various devices and will get the necessary support, however the one catch here is that there will be an increase in the pricing for the same.
