Apple is famous and there is absolutely no doubt about its popularity. So, Apple now has fastened its seat belt and launched certain applications which are user friendly and will provide alternative input methods for iOS. The two new apps are: a touch responsive stylus and the other, a device which is able to sense the hands, right or left used by the user. These two novel initiatives will surely smoothen up the Apple experience.
How is the Stylus styled?
The stylus in point is receptive to the touch of its user’s. The sensors are embedded all along the body of the stylus and the research done by them will help to control the UI screen. In some cases, electrodes can also be used for distinctive determination of touch. It can well differentiate between multiple and single touches or touch, which will help to handle the onscreen objects. This stylus is definitely useful as it will recognize the touch of its owner and will suit itself up for his/her use as if it is custom made for them. It can also make out when the owner is using force to grip it. It also possesses adjustments like, toggle, pick up etc.
This idea originated in Ray L. Chang’s brain and is very effective in need. Fingers are crossed with a wish that Apple Pencil should be launched with these features.
Handy hand detection
The other application launched is to detect that which hand is used by the owner to handle the device. When it is detected, it can then customize the UI system in accordance with the suitability of the user.
This is quite useful while handling devices which are a little too large for the palms, like iPhone 6S and 6. The detection needs to be apt and effective, so that the icons can be customized for user’s use. Previously, there was ‘Reachability’ which helped the user to reach his/her desired icons. This was the brainchild of Thane M. Miller.
