Lisa Jackson, the Vice president of Environment, Policy and Social initiatives of Apple had announced that she would be at the Bay Area Women’s Summit and would be speaking there. The event is said to be hosted at Moscone Center North and the Women’s Foundation of California is part of the partnership.

The Bay Area Women’s Summit’s Purpose is said to focus on the various conversations that surrounded empowerment for women in the advancing economic and their help them so that they can thrive and also ensure that their families succeed.

San Francisco’s Mayer, Edwin Lee will be headlined at the conference, along with Oakland’s Mayer Libby Schaaf and even Lisa Jackson of Apple are all part of the names that will officially speak. There will also be various officials of the Government who would be part of the event.

This will also include Valerie B Jarrett, President Obama’s Senior Advisor as well as Rosie Rios, the Treasurer. Apart from that, Marne Levine, the COO of Instagram and Lisa Lee the Directory of Diversity and Inclusion of Pandora will also be at the event and are part of the speakers list. Recently Jackson had also made a trip to India and was seen visiting the Barefoot College which is considered to be an iconic one.

This is due to the fact that Macs and iPads are used here while teaching women about the various programs in regulars to solar training. When Jackson was asked about her experience, she just said that it was a powerful experience and also noted about the fact that when she saw the school in person, it was amazing for her.
