A lot of people have their eyes on waiting to see what Apple will come up with next, Mac users especially are waiting to see when Apple plans to update the Mac Pro. This is something that has been long overdue considering that it was launched in 2013. The MacBook Pro which is scheduled to hit the markets later on in the year is something that everyone has their eyes on with the hopes that the update would be a fat one.
In the category where the GPU and CPU efficiency and density plays a vital role, the Mac Pro which is said to be the top of the line is using the 22nm Ivy Bridge cores, this is part of the 2 gen release and when it was introduced it was said to be an AMD GPU that was quite older. If you look at things right now, in Skylake, you already have the 6th gen cores while on Broadwell ‐E the latest 10‐core is said to the Intel chip of the 5th gen. Apart from that there is Polaris and Pascal that is also part of the list. If you look at things on a literal front, you can say that in the various generations of the iPhone, the Mac Pro in comparison to the world of the iPhone 6s is just like the iPhone 4.
The Design of the MacPro is very plain and has a trashcan shape of the space age. We all know that when it comes to competition, Apple always likes to be in the front. Well the same should also be applicable to the design. Another thing that should be considered is that the upgrading feature should be given a little importance. A lot of customers would love to have an upgrade path which is affordable and easy. Many people would love to go ahead and put in some new technology in their units, however this is something that is really tough and a consideration is something that should come from the company.
