It goes without saying that when it comes to Free Stuff, this is something that a lot of people will jump into. However, when that word Free is also attached to the word Pizza then you can be sure it can create a wave especially among youngsters and Pizza lovers.
Well on Tuesday, T‐ Mobile decided to give their users a chance of the free giveaway for the second T‐Mobile Tuesday giveaway. However, when customers went to redeem the coupon at their nearest Dominos location, a lot of them could do that since the redemption code was rejected by the company.
When it comes to a free giveaway, there is a limited amount of freebies that is offered by a company. The various locations of Domino’s had already reached their capacity of freebie giveaways. A lot of them had to end up paying for their pizza. It was not just the customers who had ran out of luck, even Mike Sievert, the COO and John Legere the CFO of T‐Mobile ran out of luck.
It turned out that a lot of customers who had various T‐Mobile connections in their homes, took advantage of the per‐line offer and ended up with multiple orders of free pizza. On the other side, there were also a few customers who complained that they were only allowed to order just one pizza per family.
The reason behind this was due to the fact that considering the amount of demand that was flooding the service, it was an overwhelming response so much so that the redemption coupons that were being delivered on the app of the T‐Mobile was getting overloaded. Even when the T‐Mobile Tuesday offers on June 7th, it was the same situation. Hopefully the company will eventually learn how to better things when it comes to dealing with the weekly giveaways and the demands that come along with it.
