iOS 10 has been grabbing eyes since its introduction because of many developments and new inclusions. Though iOS 10 will be launched this fall for iPads and iPhones, still the buzz is quite sense‐able! Though it has many advanced features now, yet some features are specially designed for certain devices and can only be enjoyed by the owners of that device.
Small Screen, Go Green
People using smaller screens will certainly go green not because of environment issue but because of jealousy! They will be jealous of those who have 1.29‐inch iPad Pro because there is an exclusive change for its users only. In order to fully utilize the large screen of this device, Apple has introduced the three‐pane split views to Mails and Notes.
View review
This split view feature is only applicable to the 1.29‐inch iPad and not even to the 9.7 one. The feature is really as simple as it sounds. The users of his specific iPad can now have three views in one screen and those will have their separate scrolling sections. This is applicable in the landscape mode. This advantage can be used during checking the mails and notes. There is a button, through which the user can dodge between three‐pane and two‐pane view according to their need. However, in portrait mode, only one, the main column is visible.
Though the inclusion of this feature is quite useful, time‐saving and user friendly, yet the main drawback is that that this cannot be enjoyed for apps other than mails and notes. However, it is expected that Apple will try to develop this and soon people can have triple views for their needed work. After all it is better to keep the eyes open and the more the number of eye‐holes, the better the vision.
