ReplayKit was first introduced by Apple with iOS 9 where people were able to share and record screencast or gameplay videos within the app directly. With the launch of iOS 10 this fall, Apple has taken a step further and introduced this ReplayKit which allows the people to show live flow of video.
What is a ReplayKit?
ReplayKit is such a tool which will help to create a feeling of communion in people and the number of fans of games will increase with this step. It is basically a framework which is quite easy to use. It permits its users i.e. the players to allocate their gameplay recordings and also lets them to air live games to online viewers and also to fellow players.
Know the fun part
The advantage of this tool is already stated but there is another fact left to be revealed which is very fascinating. The players will be able to share their gameplay recordings and all the live stuffs through their iPad and iPhone. Moreover, they can use the front‐camera and mic of their phone in order to give live commentary, or share live audios and videos of their own. This is indeed an exciting step.
Who are playing along?
In order to launch this feature, Apple took the help of a video platform of gameplay, Mobcrush. They shared live telecasts from the game, Olympus Rising. Mobcrush also confirmed their nexus through their blog and said that they are the platform where the gamers need to go in order to go on air. They in company with flaregames, were chosen by Apple for this honour.
This new version of ReplayKit can be achieved by adding certain codes to the previous one. Apple are hopeful that this thought of live streaming will extend to tutorials and the teachers will be able to take classes through this. Well, what a lively thought we say!!
