The Apple iPhone 7 launch is close by and market is full of hoax claims. There are a lot of claims already floating in the market from various sources. There is no such assurance about their claims. According to the fresh surfaced claims, it is being said that the iPhone 7 will be carrying Intel modems.
The modems from the Intel Company however will only be reserved for AT&T rest of the models will be carrying Qualcomm. After AT&T, Qualcomm is said to be holding the largest portion of the iPhone orders. They are holding the major portion of the orders worldwide.
Choosing Intel for the Apple iPhone is a pure calculated gamble. Intel is generating nearly two third of the revenue of the Apple. Adding a second source of the supplier for the Apple iPhone would be a longer term deal. Some of the analysts such as Stacy Rasgon from Sanford says that modem from the Qualcomm are much better in offering than Intel. They are much ahead in performance as compared with Intel. Steve Mollenkopf the CEO of Qualcomm says that they were expecting to lose business, Apple has still retained them for a major chunk of the business. According to the claims of the Taiwanese website DigiTimes, it has been reported that Intel would be supplying the 50 percent of the modems of the Apple iPhone 7. By using the Intel’s modem it is expected that Apple iPhone would be getting higher download and upload speeds.
In fact both Intel and Qualcomm modems would be adding higher upload and download speeds to the device. The device is capable of boosting the speeds however the real time speed may differ because of the network limitations. The network conflicts a lot of speed on the device from the real time capability of the device.
