One of the things that could be included is the WWDC wish list would be requesting Apple for pulling their podcast player which is present in iTunes out. Another thing would be that just like how it is on the iOS; the same dedicated app should be promoted even on the Mac.
In the present form, the music player of iTunes can be a real mess, however it does try to be the primary function, and iTunes hardly focuses on being a good podcast player. Apart from that, the removal of the bloat from iTunes, a lot of the existing problems would be solved if a pod cast play put is promoted on Mac as an individual app.
The recent update of the iTunes 12.4 has a few issues that were introduced. It was re‐ introduced by Apple along with navigation on the sidebar for iTunes. The goal was that the experience was to be simplified while including a disable option. However, the tab bar navigation does not revert just by trying it off like how it does on the Photos app. In the recently added Music section, turning off the sidebar means that now the navigation to the Music’s Artist section would not be that easy.
This will not be a problem as it can be left on for music, even if a person wants to go to the section of the Podcast, it is not necessary that it should be noticed on the sidebar. While stations can be removed, the use of the Podcasts and recent updates is something that can be done easily, however it is overkill when there are various kinds of options which take up two or three columns. A person can get trapped easily if they turn it off for both Music as well as Podcasts.
