1 Password Teams has been recently released by developer Agilebits after beta testing being carried out for seven months. The popular multi platform app for secure data management and password has a version; this is designed so that work groups can be served. While it is presently available for Android, Mac and iOS, the support for Windows is said to be coming soon.
The 1Password Teams app allows the users who are part of an assigned or specific team to share data, documents and passwords though the app syncing that is on the backend. Also in place is a strong encryption feature so that if passwords are sent through a message or email, it is a lot secured. Monitoring tools and granular control is provided by 1password just like any other services for team sharing. These can be used so that user permission can be applied, it can also be used to disable and enable vault sharing. Along with that you can also do other administration functions and even assign roles.
For example, the admin of the team can set the status of the password vault to Read only in case the credential of the website is highly sensitive this means that with the passwords being revealed, the team mates will be allowed to log in. For specific users, access can also be resorted through the Admin Console just in case the master password has been forgotten. The Watchover services have also been incorporated by Agilebits.
Just in case there is a breach in security, alerts will be sent out for the websites or services that have been discovered by the team that uses them. Apart from the syncing and password creation feature, the 1Password app suit also has a consumer version. The team of 1Password provides a secure storage of 1GB or 5GB based on the subscription tier that has been chosen.
