There were claims that had emerged in a report recently that the company named Jawbone which is behind various fitness wearable’s and Bluetooth speakers, had plans to stop their UP line of fitness trackers. It is believed that the selling of its UP2, 3 and 4 fitness trackers is going to be stopped. A blog post that was shared by Hosain Rahman, the CEO of Jawbone, it stated that the report which was released recently was unequivocally false.
The company’s executive said that no one ever contacted them proper to the recent report which was published. He also went on to say that the company could not wait to share what they have been up to. He also said that the company is committed to building and innovating great products which can be worn. They are also excited about the upcoming products and technology and are looking forward to share it with the whole world as soon as it’s ready. The reports on the contrary show the opposite. There is a struggle that can be seen in the sale of Jawbone‘s UP2, UP3 and UP4, On the other hand, Rahman says that the products in question are continuing to sell well and is very popular.
The was no comments on the speculation that was made on the blog post of Rahman pertaining to the company working on wearable’s which are clinical grade for heart monitoring. In the past, this was alluded by the company, a few months ago, Rahman had said that the company has plans in using the $165 million funding that it got recently to come up with wearable’s which are high grade. The latest report states that in the next few months, the announcement of the new range of products will be out. Last year, the wearable products of Jawbone were removed from the retail store of Apple.
