From the Apple community, a lot of positive attention has been given to Amazon’s Eco which is also compatible with the iPhone. After that Google came up with its Home preview during the conference of I/O developer. The reports of CNET state that there have been indications made by Apple sources pertaining to the fact that a video camera may be included Along with the Siri speaker of Apple. This is something which Google Home and Amazon Eco lacks. With this move, it is said that Apple’s Siri will not just have a feature that is improved but will also be a stand out in the competition.

In addition, the reports also indicate that the camera can also be used to detect and assign user profiles. There is no mention in the report about the way the camera can be used as a solution to home surveillance; however the rumour does state that the HomeKit will also be incorporated with the Siri speaker. Presently the framework of the home automation does not have the support for security cameras that are home, but the growing popularity of this particular category seems to be the driving force for Apple to work on the focusing on privacy.
