If Apple has plans to come with electric vehicles that are similar to Tesla, then it goes without saying that the company will also want to give their customers who are far from home a way to recharge their car without relying on third parties for the infrastructure. Well as per the reports from Reuters, it seems to be that there is an interest that is been seen by the company in regards to charging stations and hiring experienced engineers to build them.
The report in specific also shared about the fact that as of now the company is just going ahead and checking out the possibilities and requirement of the kind of technology that has to e in place for such station so that it can help their customers charge their electric vehicle. Rumours have it that even if this project does materialize, it does justify the move of the company to build and set up a force that would be the brains behind the charging solution for the users that buy the car. It is also believed that the gas stations would essentially be replaced by the charging station in the EV equation and the availability of the charging station is still very early.
As of now, it is not clear about what the company has in mind in regards to the charging station, however there is a possibility that the company does plan to have their own system in place which is very similar to the supercharger network of Tesla which happens to also be one of the greatest assists that Tesla has, or another option would be that without having its own official presence, the company would fun charging stations of third party.
