The well‐known e‐commerce portal E‐Bay has surfaced a lot of vintage items recently. Few months ago, there was a heavy sale of the first generation iPods being sold on the webpage. Some of them went really high and now an Apple’s Vintage iPhone 6 has surfaced again. The vintage iPhone 6 carries a red lightning connector. The listing has gone up to of $4,999 however it is expected that Apple’s vintage phone will go much higher than the earlier quoted amount.
The seller who is claiming to sell the vintage iPhone says that he has bought the iPhone form his riend. It has no FCC logos and serials number written at the back. The only things mentioned on the iPhone is their logo and iPhone branding. It is also believed that the operating system of this iPhone in particular is more off easy to hack therefore it is also expected to carry higher prices. The phone has internal debugging software called “Switchboard” which is very easy to hack and most demanded amongst hackers. The phone is surely expected to far high quotations.
In a similar auction held in 2014, the iPhone with similar features was sold in the market. It easily fetched 200 bids and was sold at 10,000 US dollars in the end by one of the bidders. The iPhone prototype sold in 2014 was also sold on Ebay and this is the second time some legit device like this has appeared again to be bought. There are a lot of the people in the market who like to buy such things and Ebay is full of such people. The website has reportedly auctioned many such items in past where the buyer has bought collectible items from the seller. The market for this iPhone is very hot and it should be also able to fetch a good amount of the money.
