In the support thread of Apple, it was reported by many developers that their iPad Pros would not register even though other devices could. It was also said by another developer that one of his team member’s Pro was easily registered however he was facing problems registering the Pro’s of his other team members and this was a situation that had being going on for more than a week.
A few other posters of the forum had proposed that the issue they were facing might have had some connection to the iOS 9.3.1 however it seems to be that even those who were using the recent update of iOS 9.3.2 were also affected by the problem.
Due to the fact that there have been a few units that were bricked, the problem was acknowledged by Apple and the company had requested the users to contact the Apple store that was closest to them. The owners of the Pro were trying to avoid using the update of 9.3.2. This is because the devices that were affected were asking the users to plug into the iTunes however the restoration was not successful which left owners to either opt for a replacement or take the help of Apple to troubleshoot the problem.
In March, Apple had released the Pro 9.7″ and most of the 12.9″ model features were condensed in it. This included the support for Apple Pencil, Smart Connector as well as the A9X processor into a package that was a lot more smaller as well as new touches were added such as the rear flash and true tone display. This was also meant to be a replacement for the iPad Air 2 which was formerly the iPad flagship of Apple, due to this, it was critical that the much needed support for developers had to be there.
