TeraPeak is a company which tracks the price of old collectibles on Ebay has reported that classic iPods in their original packing were all priced at collectible pricing. One of the original iPods U2 special editions has fetched $90,000 in an online deal.
The price is insane however still people are paying for it. Suddenly the charm for the iPods has gone up in the market and people are looking for iPods to buy them instantly. Terapeak has observed and reported that the starting sale prices of factory‐sealed 5GB 1st‐generation iPod Classic is close around $20k and $2,500 is being paid for 2nd‐gen 10GB Classic version of the iPod. There is a bad news too. The whopping prices are being paid for the unopened sealed packages. People are looking to buy the boxes of the iPod which has been preserved in the original state being bought from the Apple store.
Probably there is nothing for the boxes which has been opened. After the close down of the sales of the iPod the charm has gone viral in the market. TeraPeak has not commented anything about the opened used iPods. They have plainly said that you may try your luck by selling them on Ebay. It may or may not sell at all.
