In one other emotional email sent to Tim Cook a boy shared how iPad and iPhone helped his grandfather recover from the cancer surgery. The story was heartwarming and Tim could not  stop himself from replying back to the letter sent by the user. The name of the user was Bhanel who posted the copy of the reply written by Tim on Reddit. Bhanel posted a letter sharing the real life story which will impact iOS usability features. Cook replied briefly to the letter.

In the letter written to Cook, Bhanel explained that his grandfather had undergone a bladder surgery after his diagnosis with Cancer last year. Last year the old received a gift from his grandchild a new iPad Air which was picked from the local Apple store. Bhanel received an excellent customer service from the Apple store. Bhenel said his grandfather never knew how to use the even use a computer however after he was taught the basics of using the device he was able to use it himself. He scrapped his old mobile phone and taught his wife how to use the device too.

Within few weeks he was able to do everything by himself, he was able to install the apps by himself. He was able to talk to his doctors via FaceTime. Thanks to Apple which helped his grandfather recover all by himself. His grandfather is happy and recovering quickly. Bhanel feels that it is only due to the Apple and the easy usability of the device, his grandfather was able to connect with everyone so easily.

Tim Cook replied gently to the experience shared by Bhanel by thanking him for sharing the life experience. He said that he is happy to be a part of his grandfather’s life. Indeed one of the most heart touching experience we came across after a long time.
