Siri is a name which one quickly associates to the artificial intelligent system Apple has created for its users. One can ask Siri many things, including asking it to write messages, telling the time, and many such interactions one wants to do on their iPhone and other Apple devices. On the other hand, there is one major issue, which is Siri cannot interact with any of the Apple iOS apps created by third party developers. There are a number of third party apps which is of immense use to the users, but these apps cannot be contacted or used using Siri.

According to poles, there are many users who want Apple to develop a higher version of Siri which will be able to interact with third party apps too. On the other hand, it is quite interesting to know that initially, when Siri was developed, the developers wanted to include the third party features, but with a simple twist. Other than including a middleman for interactions with third party users, the developers wanted Siri to do it directly. For example, if asked for a cab, Siri would be able to directly contact the a cab service like Uber and directly book a cab. During the time Siri was being developed, Apple did not allow the developer to do so and this created an issue between the company and Siri developers.

As the result, some of the developers left the company and created a better version of Siri, called Viv. The level of sophistication and the response to questions is much more sophisticated than that of Siri. Moreover, Viv can not only interact with iOS build apps, but also third party apps running on the iOS platform. Truly speaking, if Viv ever can get accepted to the iOS app section, it will be a bad day for Siri.
