The co‐founders of Siri Dag Kittlaus and Adam Cheyer offered the first demonstration in public of Viv. This is one of the much anticipated advanced level voice assistant for humans. The demo of the Viv took place at TechCrunch’s NY event. They wasted no time in showing the capability of the Viv at the event.
Kittlaus begun by asking simple questions from Viv initially like what’s the weather today and then slowly migrated to tougher questions like will it be raining in Seattle? Will Golden Bridgebe warmer by 70 degrees this summer?
Viv had no problems in answering any of the questions. It worked like a charm and was completely smooth. Viv faced no issues while understanding the question nor had any issues while answering them to the user immediately. The co‐founder said that their product is quite near to Siri. Google and Facebook has already extended their offers to buy the technology however it is not clear of the founder and co‐founder will be willing to sell the technology to any one of them when the early integration are expected to be launched early this year. They are working upon integrating some changes to the make their product better. The product upgrades are expected to be launched early this year by the developers.
Viv has enhanced the contextual awareness of Viv which is a new major breakthrough in the path of the technology. It enables Viv to understand the intent of the user and code the response automatically. The developers are planning to integrate the functionality into apps. The developer of the virtual assistant are quite excited with their platforms. They have got multiple offers for the sale however they are planning to take the product ahead. They have likely not decided about selling it completely with any other technology giant.
