ProtonMail is one of the most useful apps for iOS device users. Using this app, users can seamlessly browse through their PGP mail system and keep all their data private. PGP or Pretty Good Privacy is a system which allows users to encrypt and decrypt their mails, attachments and many more such private data for security purposes. With the inclusion of the new feature users can now use their iPhone Touch ID system to gain access to their mailbox and other data. Moreover, the encrypted mails can now be unlocked using just the Touch ID by scanning the correct fingerprint.

This, on the other hand, does not mean that the mails cannot be password protected. One can actually use both password as well as the Touch ID system to ensure their privacy. This provide with maximum security to the user. When activated and initialized, the user will have to not only provide with the correct fingerprint, but also provide the right PIN in order to unlock the encrypted mails. The lock can be put on manually, or by setting the auto‐lock system on.

Moreover, one can preset a time in which the mails will lock automatically. Additionally, another added feature is of the ability to attach files directly from the cloud storage.
