The recruiting department of Apple seems to be cutting down. As per the latest Venture Beat report, Not only did the company let go off some of the recruiters that are with them full time in the company, however even the contract recruiters have been ticked off the list. If you look at the numbers of the number of people that have been affected due to the cut off, it touches around 100 people and as of now it does not seem that company has plans to replace them.
The reason of such a move is unclear however the notes of the report show that the recruiting efforts of the company are slowing down. There are presently no job listings that have been made by the companies which could be implied that the replacement of the people who were let off seems to be in the books. There is also a possibility that the recruiting efforts may be outsourced by the company to a new recruiting company.
Apart from the company letting go it’s recruiters that was in house, there are also adjustments that are being made for the one’s that remain in regards to the incentives. Previously, based on the base salary of the new employee that was recruited, a 40% bonus was given to the recruiters however as per the recent reports that were released, it shows that the amount has been reduced. Now the recruiters get around 10‐15% and eventually there is also a possibility that even that would entirely go away.
No reasoning has been given specifically as to why the recruiting efforts of the company has been cut down so dramatically, however news has it that some analysts and investors made a few predictions that was dark pertaining to how the company would shape up for the year of 2016.
